Whether you're a NASCAR lover, IRL nut, F1 freak or just looking for the Big Johnson trailer on the midway, you'll want to listen every week and call in! The first thing you'll realize when listening to NASCAR Girl Summer Santana and Steve "Sparky" Fifer is that they like having fun and both are very passionate in their beliefs on issues. You should be warned this show can get very loud at times as both like to yell about different things.
You should also be warned that at times you may tune in and here them talking about things that have happened recently in their lives. Many people that listen to the show always say "I'm not a huge racing fan, but I love listening to these two!" Roush Racing is the favorite of Summer while Kevin Harvick is the favorite of Sparky. Both of them are not fans of Dale, Jr, Danica Patrick, and races on TNT. They both love the state of Alabama, sweet tea, and fried green tomato sandwiches.
With Sparky off in Arizona for Spring Training, Matt Regashus, Summer Santana, and racingnation.com's Steve Zautke are manning the ship and talking about Junior's troubles, Jimmie's nickname, and Hendrick's continued dominance.

Steve Zautke grew up at the Milwaukee Mile. His father, Bill was a movie photographer at The Mile in the 1960's and 1970's. Steve loved following the exploits of exciting USAC Stock Car drivers such as Norm Nelson, Don White, Bay Darnell, Ramo Stott and Butch Hartman. Also a fan of Indy Cars, the first racecar he sat in was Bobby Unser's exquisite Olsonite Eagle in the early-1970's. Steve's favorite drivers were the aforementioned Unser, SuperTex A.J. Foyt, Jim Hurtubise, and of course Wisconsin's own, Alan Kulwicki.
Today Steve likes Tony Stewart and Robby Gordon, two throwbacks to an earlier era and thinks it's a travesty that Erik Darnell does not have a full-time ride. A fan of all racing, Steve loves Road America, would love to visit the Nurburgring in Germany and still loves to see the USAC boys mix it up on the dirt. Steve has worked in track safety as an EMT, as a videographer, media center volunteer, on-line reporter, editor of RacingNation.com and the Harry Miller Club Newsletter and Milwaukee Mile Historian. Steve has co-hosted Sparky's Final Inspection when his busy racing schedule has allowed since the beginning.

Steve "Sparky" Fifer
Steve "Sparky" Fifer started out his career in radio in Kenosha, WI interning for Tim Allen and helping to produce a weekend sports talk show for Tim Allen and John Weiser. After a couple of months of interning, he was put on the payroll and started jocking oldies at night on the AM station while engineering high school football and basketball games during the week.
During this time he attended Gateway Technical College for Radio Broadcasting, while maintaing two other jobs outside of his radio gig. Afer ownership changed, he left to go to Lake Geneva to try his hand in sales. After three months of making every attempt, he didn't make one sale!! Management figured out they made a mistake and made him the morning show producer. While in that role he broke out as an on-air personality by playing the character "Stuttering" Stu Michaels.
Sparky used that momentum to cruise into Milwaukee radio a short time later. He landed a gig at WISN-AM as producer of The World’s Greatest Sports Talk Show, staying in that role for 6 years. When WSSP launched in 2005, Sparky joined the roster. One of the most busy personalities on the station, you can hear him on The Big Show(Weekday Afternoons 2-6pm), Sparky’s Final Inspection (Saturdays 12p-2p), Milwaukee's Real Basketball Post Game Show (after Bucks games)and the Usinger's Baseball Post Game Show (after Brewers games).
When he's not on the air, you can catch the avid NASCAR fan following the exploits of his favorite driver, Kevin Harvick.
Summer Santana
Summer Santana aka NASCAR GIRL/F1 GIRL. She is an Army brat that has lived in beautiful places such as Alaska, Virginia, Hawaii, Alabama, Germany, and Wisconsin. She loves it in the south…. nothing better then sweet tea, boiled peanuts and the smell of race gas!! Summer’s love of fast cars started when she was a young girl going to drag strips and monster truck shows with her family.
She’s an old fashion car gal that is. Back in the day of great American power!! She’s a sucker for an American muscle car, one of her favorites is a 1967 mustang. Other than racing she's also a fan of football, hockey, and bull riding. She believes that if you are a sports fan you should be passionate but not stupid about your sport. See the whole picture and stick with your team, unless they sell out and turn to Toyota then you divorce the guy and take everything!! =-).
She started out doing a NASCAR segment on News/Talk 1130 WISN in 2003, than in 2006 she landed her current role as co-host of Sparky’s Final Inspection on Saturday's from Noon to 2pm.
