Freimund is the Co-Host of the "Chuck and Wickett Show",morning sports update anchor, and Sports Director at Sportsradio 1250 WSSP. He also hosts Sunday's one hour "On Deck Show" before Brewers games in addition to his coverage of sporting events for the station.
Freimund is a lifelong fan of the state's sports teams,having lived and covered the great and worst moments of our sports scene.Grew up in the Milwaukee suburb Greendale and has lived and worked in Wisconsin all of his life.Freimund started covering the Milwaukee sports scene when he was 14. While in high school,he worked at the old 95.7 WZUU in Milwaukee,covering games. Became the youngest network correspondent in the country with his coverage for UPI Radio, NBC, AP Radio and other freelance opportunities while stilll in high school. Also,in 1994, became first to host a show on a Milwaukee Sportsradio station.Has worked as the Sports Director at KFIZ/1530 ESPN radio in Fond du Lac and 107.5 "The Fan" in Green Bay-where he was also the play by play voice of UW Green Bay Basketball. Freimund currently resides in Lomira.
About Mike Wickett
A native of Canton, MI, Wickett got his first full-time job in radio at WTKA-AM in March of 2000. Over the next 6 years, he worked his way up the ranks to Afternoon Show Co-Host, Morning Show Co-Host and then Assistant Program Director of the station. Among his many accomplishments, Wickett organized and hosted the top ranked coverage of University of Michigan Football on WTKA. He also anchored coverage of NASCAR and IRL Events at Michigan International Speedway. Extremely versatile, he has worked with 7 different co-hosts during his time in Ann Arbor. He’s a graduate of the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. Wickett resides in downtown Milwaukee.
